FC Barcelona x Ed Sheeran 25/26 El Clásico Nike Kit

FC Barcelona has released a limited-edition kit featuring British artist Ed Sheeran’s latest album logo for select matches in October 2025. The jersey, part of the club’s ongoing partnership with Spotify, marks the seventh logo variation to appear on the Barcelona shirt since the streaming platform became the team’s main sponsor.

The “Play” album emblem will debut on the women’s team jersey during their October 19 match against Granada CF, followed by an appearance on the men’s kit for the highly anticipated El Clásico against Real Madrid on October 26. This represents the first time a male solo pop artist has been featured on a Barcelona jersey, following previous collaborations with Travis Scott, Coldplay, Karol G, The Rolling Stones, Rosalía, and Drake.

Sheeran, whose eighth studio album “Play” inspired the collaboration, commands significant presence on Spotify with over 92 million monthly listeners. The artist has achieved 14 entries in Spotify’s Billions Club, a designation reserved for tracks exceeding one billion streams. According to the club, the album reflects themes of global exploration and cultural connection, concepts that parallel Barcelona’s international fan base and worldwide influence.

The partnership extends beyond commercial considerations, as Sheeran has publicly expressed appreciation for both football and Barcelona as a city. The collaboration capitalizes on the intersection of music and sport, two cultural forces with demonstrated ability to unite diverse audiences across geographic boundaries.
