Record European champion Real Madrid and adidas have officially unveiled the club’s retro-infused third jersey for the 2025/26 season.
The new Los Blancos jersey stands out with its blue colorway—an homage to the iconic stands of the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. Subtle white details complement the design, reflecting not only modern aesthetics but also the strong visual identity that both the club and adidas have cultivated over decades.
A key feature of the Real Madrid 2025/26 adidas third kit is the use of the historic adidas Originals trefoil logo. This marks a shift from the typical modern adidas mark to an emblem rooted in tradition, symbolizing a blend between heritage and originality. The blue shade itself draws its inspiration from the contours and seating of the recently renovated Bernabéu, further tying the kit to the spirited atmosphere that defines Real Madrid’s home matches.
Another distinctive element is the serrated, three white stripes running down the sleeves, a nod to the design often found on adidas Originals footwear. This marks the first time serrated stripes have appeared on a Real Madrid kit, reaffirming a collaborative effort to merge classic symbols from both the sporting and lifestyle aspects of adidas into a single visual language.
The initials “RMCF” appear in yellow at the top of the kit’s back, offering a discrete club reference that communicates Real Madrid’s legacy while integrating a splash of color that contrasts with the dominant blue and white. The inside of the jersey features the renowned quote, “90 Minuti en el Bernabéu son molto longo,” a phrase by Juanito that captures the challenging spirit of the Bernabéu and has become synonymous with the club’s home advantage.
For the 2025/26 campaign, the third kit will be worn throughout Real Madrid’s participation in the Spanish LaLiga, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League.
