Manchester United have officially unveiled their adidas home kit for the 2025/26 season, marking a new chapter for the club as they prepare for their upcoming Premier League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup campaigns. The latest design draws direct inspiration from Old Trafford, the club’s iconic stadium, and aims to capture the spirit and history of what is often referred to as the ‘Theatre of Dreams’.
A standout feature of the new Manchester United 2025/26 adidas home jersey is its abstract sleeve graphic, which uses different shades of red to represent various elements of Old Trafford. The design pays homage to the pitch, the stands, and the tunnel, reflecting the unique atmosphere of the stadium, especially on non-match days when its grandeur is most palpable.
This artistic approach sets the new kit apart from previous iterations, offering both a visual and symbolic connection to the club’s storied home.
The latest Manchester United primay shirt maintains a classic look with a modern twist. It features a black and white V-neck collar and matching sleeve cuffs, complemented by black adidas three stripes running down the shoulders.
Both the adidas logo and the sponsor logos appear in a contrasting white, ensuring visibility against the predominantly red base of the jersey. On the back of the collar, a ‘Theatre of Dreams’ sign-off serves as a final nod to the club’s rich heritage.
Senior design director at adidas, Jurgen Rank, explained the creative direction behind the kit: “The colour red is fundamental to the club’s DNA. There have been many different expressions of it over the years and, for this season, we wanted to do something a little different, using the sleeves as a canvas. The abstract graphic stays true to the club’s DNA while providing an innovative look and feel to an otherwise classy and classic jersey”.
