Nike and Suomen Palloliitto have released the Finland men’s and women’s national football team kits for the 2025/26 season, featuring a distinctive design collaboration that celebrates Finnish cultural heritage. The new jerseys will be worn by Finland’s women’s team at UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 and by the men’s team during their FIFA World Cup 2026 qualifying campaigns.
The Finland 2025/26 Nike jerseys draw inspiration from Finnish national romanticism, the country’s natural landscape, and the curved lines of Art Nouveau architecture. This design philosophy creates a visual narrative that connects Finland’s sporting identity with its rich cultural and artistic traditions. The kits represent a departure from conventional football jersey design, incorporating elements that specifically reflect Finland’s national character and aesthetic heritage.
Central to the Finland 25/6 Nike kit designs is the collaboration with internationally acclaimed Finnish artist and designer Klaus Haapaniemi, who created the decorative patterns and typography from conception to completion.
Haapaniemi, known for his storytelling-based approach to design and collaborations with iconic international brands across Europe and Japan, brought his distinctive artistic vision to the project. His enthusiasm for the Football Association of Finland partnership has resulted in hand-designed elements that elevate the jerseys beyond standard sportswear into wearable art.
The Finland 2025/26 Nike home jersey features a predominantly white base with a striking vertical blue stripe running down the center front. This stripe is filled with Haapaniemi’s intricate, decorative pattern that serves as the kit’s focal point against the clean white backdrop. The design creates visual interest while maintaining the traditional Finnish color scheme. The jersey’s name and number typography, also designed by Haapaniemi, draws inspiration from Art Nouveau architecture, completing the cohesive artistic vision across all kit elements.
Finland’s 25/26 away jersey presents a bold blue colorway with Haapaniemi’s decorative pattern covering the entire front panel. The blue shirt features the same artistic elements as the home kit but with expanded coverage, creating a more dramatic visual impact. The sleeves feature subtle textural patterns that complement the main design without overwhelming the overall aesthetic.
The new home jersey will make its official debut when Finland’s women’s national team faces Serbia at Helsinki Olympic Stadium on June 3, 2025.
