Manchester City 2025/26 PUMA Home Kit
In a bold departure from tradition, Manchester City and PUMA have revealed the club’s 2025/26 home kit featuring the iconic ‘sash’ design for the first time in the club’s home jersey history. The distinctive diagonal stripe, previously reserved for away kits, makes its home debut on the familiar sky-blue base with a striking white sash.
The innovative design pays homage to City’s rich heritage while pushing boundaries for the future generation of supporters. The sash element, which first appeared on City kits in the 1970s and was worn by club legends like Mike Summerbee, Colin Bell, Francis Lee, and Tony Book, creates a meaningful connection between the club’s storied past and its promising future, effectively bridging different generations of City faithful.
To commemorate the launch of their 2025/26 home kit, Manchester City and PUMA produced a unique film directed by Glenn Kitson. Shot in the Clayton Official Supporters Club near the Etihad Stadium, the light-hearted talent show format features John Thompson from The Fast Show and Cold Feet as host, alongside current stars Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji, Oscar Bobb, and Alex Greenwood. The film celebrates community spirit and the authentic fan experience that remains at the heart of the club.
The Man City 2025/26 home kit comes in both Authentic and Replica versions to meet different wearer needs. The Authentic jersey, identical to what players will wear on the pitch, utilizes PUMA’s ULTRAWEAVE technology to minimize weight and friction for optimal athletic performance. The Replica version offers the same visual design with a more relaxed fit suitable for fans, while both incorporate dryCELL technology to enhance comfort through moisture management.
Sustainability features prominently in the new Manchester City home jersey’s development through PUMA’s RE:FIBRE initiative. The Replica shirts contain at least 95% recycled textile waste and used polyester materials, demonstrating the brand’s commitment to more environmentally responsible manufacturing practices without sacrificing product quality or performance.
Manchester City will don the new PUMA home kit during their upcoming campaigns across multiple competitions in the 2025/26 season. The sky blue and white sash design will feature in the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, FA Cup, and EFL Cup matches throughout the season, as well as during the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup this summer.
