Ghana 2024/25 PUMA Home and Away Kits

PUMA Football has launched the new 2024/25 home and away kits for the Ghana national football team, four-time champions of the Africa Cup of Nations. The collection represents a significant departure from previous designs, incorporating deep cultural elements from Ghana’s rich heritage.

The Ghana 2024/25 PUMA home jersey features a groundbreaking design element: traditional Adinkra symbols arranged in an intricate pattern across the white base, centered by Ghana’s iconic black star. These symbols become more visible as players perspire during matches, creating a dynamic visual effect that adds depth to the jersey’s appearance.

Ghanaian-born designer Jefferson Osei collaborated with celebrated local artist Daniel Alum Jasper to create the unique pattern. Their partnership focused on selecting specific Adinkra symbols that resonate with various Ghanaian tribes, aiming to promote unity through traditional imagery. Jasper hand-painted the symbols, which were then incorporated into the final design.

The 24/25 away kit draws inspiration from Ghana’s historical “Gold Coast” identity, featuring a vibrant yellow base color that reflects traditional Ghanaian cultural elements. The design maintains continuity with the home kit concept through the inclusion of Adinkra symbols, though these are positioned specifically on the jersey sleeves.
