Liverpool FC 2024/25 Nike Home Kit
Liverpool Football Club, in partnership with Nike, has officially launched its home kit for the 2024/25 season, drawing inspiration from a historic year of triumphs.
The new jersey pays homage to the 1984 season, a period of remarkable success when Liverpool clinched the First Division, EFL Cup, and European Cup. This year’s design is a modern reinterpretation of the classic LFC shirt pattern and print from that era, celebrating the club’s rich heritage.
The Liverpool 2024/25 Nike home jersey features a striking chrome yellow pattern, incorporating the club’s iconic “YNWA” (You’ll Never Walk Alone) motto into the very fabric of the shirt, symbolizing the deep connection between the club and its supporters. The design is not just a visual statement but also a tactile one, with the motto etched into the material, creating a unique texture that fans can feel.
In a nod to the past, the collar of the jersey showcases yellow and red detailing, reminiscent of the one worn by the 1984 team. The Liverpool FC side forty years ago, led by manager Joe Fagan, made history by winning the European Cup in Rome. The new kit seeks to capture the spirit of that victory. The jersey and shorts are complemented by yellow and white side paneling, adding a contemporary edge to the retro aesthetic.
The back of the 2024/25 shirt introduces a new cup and friendly name and number style, inspired by the city of Liverpool itself. The design takes cues from the historic street signs found throughout the city, offering a fresh and contemporary twist that resonates with the club’s roots.
