AS Roma has revealed its new adidas third kit for the 2023/24 season, which combines modernity and tradition in a stylish design.
The ASR 23/24 third jersey, which will be worn by the Giallorossi in the Italian Serie A, Coppa Italia, and UEFA Europa League competitions, features a black base with yellow and red accents.
The most distinctive element of the latest AS Roma shirt is the “Lupetto” (little wolf) logo, designed by Piero Gratton in 1978, which is placed on the left chest. The logo, which represents the symbol of Rome and its legendary origins, is stylised in black and enclosed in a white circle with yellow and red edges.
The collar of the AS Roma 2023/24 adidas third kit has a “Henry” style, with three stripes in yellow, red, and black, reflecting the club’s iconic colors. The sleeves have a guilloché pattern, inspired by the mosaics of Ancient Rome, reinterpreted for the modern era.
The back of the shirt features a stylised “R”, another element from Gratton’s legacy, which was part of the club’s coordinated identity in the late 1970s and early 1980s.
AS Roma’s 2023/24 adidas third kit is designed to offer high-level sporting performance, as well as to express the identity and passion of the fans. It is a tribute to the history and culture of Rome, as well as to the innovation and diversity of the new generations of football lovers.
