Liverpool FC has revealed its Nike away kit for the 2023/24 season, inspired by the 1995-96 shirt worn by legends like Ian Rush and Robbie Fowler.
The multiple-time Premier League, FA Cup and UEFA Champions League winner’s new alternate jersey is white and green with a digital effect of tonal greens on the quarters, and a black collar and cuff. It also has a 97 emblem with the Eternal Flames at the back of the neck, in honour of the Hillsborough victims.
The latest Liverpool FC Nike shirtcomes with black shorts, black name and number, and white socks with a black and green trim.
The Liverpool FC 2023/24 away kit launch campaign takes us back to the 1990s, when technology was changing fast and the internet was becoming popular. The launch video features players from the men’s and women’s teams in a photo booth, as well as Jürgen Klopp and Fowler, who are wearing the new away anthem jacket. The music is a ’90s-style house track by LFC fan Jamie Unknown.
Fowler said: “The 1995-96 away strip was iconic and I scored a lot of goals in it. I love the new version of the white and green away kit.”
The Liverpool men’s team will wear their 23/24 Nike away kit for the first time against Leicester City in Singapore during their pre-season tour, while the women’s team will also debut it in their pre-season games in late August.
