The final match of the 2022/23 Premier League season for Crystal Palace FC will have a special twist. The Eagles will wear their newly unveiled 2023/24 Macron home kit, which features red and blue halves to mark the 10th anniversary of their historic return to the Premier League in the 2013/14 season, when they face Nottingham Forest on Sunday 28th of May.
Crystal Palace Football Club, which dates back to 1861 and became professional in 1905, is one of the oldest football clubs in the world and the design of their new shirt reflects the strong connection between the team’s origins and the iconic building that inspired the club’s name.
The Crystal Palace FC home shirt for the 2023/24 season keeps the team;s classic colors of red and blue, divided into two halves: red on the right side and blue on the left side. The collar and cuffs have white, red and blue stripes. The label inside the neck has a blue background with the club’s badge and the letters ‘CPFC’ along with the Macron logo and the words ‘Designed in Bologna’ to show that every garment is created and designed at Macron Headquarters. The word ‘EAGLES’ is printed in white on the back of the collar. The Macron Hero logo is on the right chest, and the Crystal Palace badge is on the left. Both logos are 3D silicone printed with a silk effect undertone.
The graphics of the 23/24 Eagles home kit have a tone-on-tone, dye-sub pattern of the famous ‘Crystal Palace’, the iron and glass structure and engineering masterpiece that was built for London’s Great Exhibition of 1851. This is how the club’s story began: Crystal Palace Football Club was founded ten years after the exhibition by a group of employees of the Crystal Palace Company. The club’s name has remained unchanged ever since.
The Crystal Palace 2023/24 Macron home kit is completed by blue shorts with red stripes on the sides and blue socks with two thin lines in red and white around the top.
