Scotland 2022/23 adidas Home and Away Kits

adidas UK has released the Scotland 2022/23 home and away kits. The same shirt designs will be worn by the Scottish men’s and women’s national teams for the first time.

According to the Scottish Football Association:

The home strip boasts a traditional navy base which is complimented by tartan detail and a thistle sign-off on the back of the neck, owing to our national flower. A vibrant, purple colour also makes an appearance in adidas’ iconic three stripes, while white shorts and navy socks complete the strip.

The away strip, meanwhile, is elegant and eye-catching, with tartan woven into the white jersey in a nod to the nation’s heritage. The shorts also encompass iconic Scottish elements; however, the tartan has been re-imagined through the lens of speed, giving a modern take on a Scottish tradition.

The Scotland 22/23 adidas home kit was worn for the first time by the country’s women’s senior team in a World Cup qualifier against Netherlands on Friday. The men’s team will debut the new match range during upcoming UEFA Nations League matches against Republic or Ireland and Ukraine in late September.
