Asociación del Fútbol Argentino outfitter adidas has released the away kit that team captain Lionel Messi and the rest of the talented Argentina men’s national team will wear at FIFA World Cup 2022 Qatar.
The first purple jersey in the association’s history will continue to be worn by the AFA’s men’s and women’s national teams throughout the rest of 2022 and 2023.
adidas says that “Argentina’s away jersey is inspired by the pride of the nation and its quest for a more equitable world. Its vibrant purple hues, representing gender equality, combine with fiery graphics in reference to the national flag’s iconic Sun of May.”
The Argentina World Cup 2022 away shirt features a new v-neck design from adidas with the brand’s iconic Three Stripes on its shoulders in a lighter shade of purple than the rest of the shirt. It features adidas’ new textless logo on its right breast.
Argentina will meet Mexico, Poland and Saudi Arabia in the group stage of the World Cup.
