PUMA Brasil and Palmeiras today launched the club’s new 2022/23 third kit. The campaign “Verde é tudo. Verde ou nada” is presented in the voice of the club’s coach Abel Ferreira and explains the strong connection between the club and the color green, demonstrating through different tones of the color that all of them illustrate and lead back to Palmeiras.
As is tradition, the new shirt is released on the club’s anniversary, August 26, making the supporters’ hearts wake up even greener, with the fierceness that runs in the veins of each of them. The campaign’s launch film embodies the vibration, grit and passion that is felt in Palmeiras’ matches. With the support of the players, what the campaign recreates is seen during goal celebrations, with the emotions and familiarity of those who have already celebrated so many goals for Palmeiras. Marcos Rocha, Gustavo Gomez, Vanderlan, Mayke, Rony and Weverton participated in the campaign.
The debut of the new third kit will take place on September 10th for Palmeiras’ Brasileirão match against Juventude.
The third kit features the color “Green Glimmer’, a new shade that celebrates the strong connection between Palmeiras and green. The release features two shirts: the Player version, the authentic shirt that is used by the players on the field, with mesh fabric on the back and sleeves, lighter and with greater breathability.
The Supporter version has smooth fabric on the back and sleeves. In the front, both shirts have the fabric with a zig-zag construction to maintain visual cohesion between both versions. The Player version has the applied arts with rubberized technology, while the Supporter version uses water-based technology.
“I’m very happy to present another kit that will certainly be marked in Palmeiras’ history, celebrating the most beautiful and victorious color of Brazilian football”, says Palmeiras’ president, Leila Pereira. “Completing yet another launch cycle with PUMA is very important and rewarding for everyone involved. Each passing year, the connection between the two brands grows even stronger”.
“PUMA and Palmeiras have already built a very strong and successful partnership, with several championship victories. We want to continue like this, which is why we always seek, through the uniforms and campaigns that we create together, to synthesize the passion that exists among supporters and each element that refers to Palmeiras’, said Sebastian Diaz, PUMA’s Brazil CEO. “For the new third kit, we understand that it is the perfect moment to celebrate this appropriation of the color green by Palmeiras, after all it is the most successful color in Brazilian football”.
