Manchester United revealed their 2022/23 adidas away kit in Melbourne’s Federation Square on Saturday.
The record twenty-time English Premier League champions will rock a mainly white alternate jersey for their upcoming domestic and UEFA Europa League runs. The shirt is United’s first white kit since the 2016/17 season.
According to Manchester United their 22/23 away jersey is “inspired by the club’s philosophy of youth, courage and success”. A nod to the club’s storied past is included through the use of a shield beneath the club crest.
Black and red adidas Three Stripes run along the shoulders while red and black shapes accent the black v-neck and sleeve cuffs.
The Manchester United 2022/23 adidas away jersey will be worn with combinations of black and white shorts and socks.
adidas design director Inigo Turner commended: “We approached this kit that the club will wear in opponent’s stadiums around the world with a fresh perspective, aiming to capture an indisputable sense of collective conviction and common purpose.
“Wherever the club goes, we wanted it to carry its philosophy of youth, courage, and success, proudly woven into the fabric of the kit for players and fans alike to wear together.”
