Benfica 2022/23 adidas Home Kit
SL Benfica have dropped their 2022/23 home kit from adidas Portugal. The new As Águias (The Eagles) jersey will be worn by the domestic power for the upcoming Primeira Liga, Taça de Portugal, Taça da Liga, and UEFA Champions League seasons.
The Benfica 22/23 home jersey is in the club’s customary home red. White details are back on the shirt this year via its rounded collar, sleeve cuffs, and adidas shoulder stripes. The adidas a sponsor logos throughout the kit are also white.
The latest Benfica jersey pays homage to the city of Lisbon via a print of the Ponte 25 de Abril (25 of April Bridge) on its nape. Embossed pinstripes on the front of the shirt continue the tribute in that they are intended to represent the bridge’s steel cables.
Benfica will debut their 2022/23 adidas home kit during July pre-season friendlies against Reading FC and Newcastle United.
