Malawi kicked off its latest Africa Cup of Nations campaign with 1-0 loss to Guinea on Monday.
The Flames wore their 2022 away kit for the match. It was unveiled along with the team’s new red home and black third uniforms just ahead of AFCON’s start by the Football Association of Malawi.
The Malawi 2022 kits are reportedly made by a company called Moto in China and Vietnam. They feature a simple v-neck design with a tonal Malawian fabric print throughout them.
Malawi will also meet Senegal and Zimbabwe at this year’s African football championship.
