Belgian footballing power Club Brugge has released its 130th Anniversary kit from technical partner Macron. The new Blauw-Zwart (Blue-Black) jersey is called ‘The Heritage’.
The shirt made its debut on Sunday during a Belgian First Division A match against Standard De Liège. The Heritage is inspired by Club Brugge’s legendary 80’s Assubel shirt.
The dates and names of Club Brugge’s seventeen league titles, eleven Belgian Cups and sixteen Super Cups are embossed on the front of the kit on five vertical bands. The year of the club’s founding , 1891, is embossed on the lower back while the team’s motto of ‘NO SWEAT, NO GLORY’ appears on the nape.
The jersey combines navy blue and light blue on a classy polo collared design with a three-buttoned placket.
