FC Shakhtar Donetsk 2021/22 PUMA Home and Away Kits

Known as the first European club of the likes of Willian, Fernandinho and Douglas Costa, FC Shakhtar Donetsk has switched technical sponsor to PUMA after over a decade with Nike.

The perennial Ukrainian Premier League title challengers and UEFA Champions League group stage regulars have been donning their new look 2021/22 home and away kits on the domestic front in recent weeks.

The 21/22 jerseys are in FC Shakhtar’s familiar home orange and often used away black. Both shirts use the same v-neck design from PUMA that is also being worn by the likes of AC Milan and Manchester City. Vertical pinstripes and flashes at the side and shoulders add contrast to the kits’ bases. Crossed hammers are printed on the jerseys’ signoff areas in recognition of the club’s ties to the coalmining community of the city of Donetsk.

FC Shakhtar will be in the international spotlight on Tuesday when they face AS Monaco in the playoff round of the 2021/22 UEFA Champions League.
