Olympique Lyon 2021/22 adidas Home and Away Kits

The Olympique Lyon women’s team wore the club’s 2021/22 red adidas away kit during Friday’s Division 1 Féminine win over Bordeaux. The men’s side will debut OL’s 21/22 home kit in Sunday’s French Ligue 1 season closing match against Nice.

Olympique Lyon says that the jerseys celebrate the team’s heritage as one of the most successful clubs in French soccer history.

The mainly white OL 21/22 home jersey sees the return of a vertical red and blue band on the left side of the shirt. The design used for the Olympique Lyon shirts of the 1970s and the very successful 2000s when the team Ligue 1 for every season from 2001/02 to 2007/08.

The lion from the Olympique Lyon crest and the city of Lyon’s coat of arms is sublimated within the red and blue stripes. Red adidas stripes are stitched onto the shoulders while the collar is trimmed in red and blue.

The Olympique Lyon 2021/22 away jersey is red with a tonal all over floral effect. It is accented with navy blue at the collar, sleeve cuffs and shoulders. The shirt’s design is inspired by street art and fashion.
