Cruzeiro 2021 adidas Home Kit

Two-time Copa Libertadores and four-time Campeonato Brasileiro Série A champion Cruzeiro Esporte Clube unveiled its 2021 adidas home kit at the Mineirão Stadium on Thursday. The shirt is Cruzeiro ‘s 100th Anniversary jersey.

The kit is in classic Cruzeiro primary blue with the team’s star constellation crest. The stars are embroidered in gold along with the adidas logo and Three Stripes in recognition of the club’s centennial.

Cruzeiro’s roots as Palestra Itália is acknowledged by the inclusion of the crest of the predecessor side on a commemorative print on the outside upper back of the jersey.

The colors of the Italian national flag are used for the shirt’s sleeve cuffs in another tribute to the country of origin of the immigrant founders of Cruzeiro. “100 ANOS” (100 YEARS) is printed on the inside of the cuffs.

Past and present Cruzeiro players Natal, Dirceu Lopes, Douglas, Nonato, Geovanni, Gomes, Fábio, Eskerdinha, Vanessinha and Duda were on hand at the Mineirão to model the 2021 adidas kit.
