Derby County Football Club debuted their 2020/21 Umbro home kit during 1-3 home loss against Premier League-bound Leeds United.
The shirt is in the well-known home white with black accents of The Rams primary jerseys. It is inspired by Derby County kits of the past. The club says that it combines “the simplicity of the home kits in the late 1960s and early 1970s with the subtle two-tone pinstripe worn during the 1993/94 and 1994/95 seasons.”
Derby County’s 20/21 home kit uses a bespoke Umbro v-necked design with a series of embossed pinstripes on its front. Asymmetric black trim adds detail at the collar. The accent affect also appears just above the sleeve cuffs. “DERBY COUNTY” is printed in silver a retro-themed font on the upper back of the jersey.
Black shorts with white contrasting effects and white socks with single black stripes complete the Derby County 2020/21 Umbro home uniform.
Derby County’s 2020/21 Umbro away shirt was released earlier this month.
