Popular London-based Premier League side West Ham United Football Club have unveiled their 2020/21 home kit. The Umbro-provided shirt is also the team’s 125th Anniversary primary jersey.
The Hammers 20/21 Umbro home kit is based on the shirt worn by WHUFC during the 1960s.
The period is regarded as the greatest in their as they won the 1964 FA Cup, 1966 League Cup, and 1965 UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup. Three West Ham players were also on the England team that won the 1966 FIFA World Cup.
West Ham’s 2020/21 home jersey features a bespoke rounded neck design in the club’s famous claret and sky blue. It has an embroidered 125th Anniversary crest on its chest with cross hammers and the “125” on its upper back.
The polyester fabric used for the kit has been given a flat finish to replicate the look of the cotton football shirts of the 1960s.
White shorts and socks complete the new West Ham United home uniform.
