Improving Italian Serie A side Parma Calcio 1913 have released a special edition kit celebrating the fiftieth anniversary of AC Parmense acquiring the rights of liquidated Parma Football Club to become Parma AC.
The then newly formed club wore the Crociati-styled shirt of the Parma FC that was formed in 1913 during the 1969/70 season as they were crowned Serie D champions.
The Parma Calcio x AC Parmense 2019/20 anniversary kit is provided by the club’s technical partner Erreà. It is a modern reproduction of the iconic and well-remembered 1969/70 jersey.
The largely white shirt is broken has a yellow and blue band forming a cicle from its chest to upper back. The current incarnation of the Parma Calcio 1913 badge is replaced by the AC Parmense on the limited edition jersey. Each shirt is individually numbered from 1 to 400 and is packaged in a collector’s box.
Parma will wear the kit during Sunday’s Serie A meeting with Brescia at Ennio Tardini Stadium.
