Up-Close: Parma Calcio Erreà STRIPE iD 2019 Range
Italian sportswear firm recently launched their first major range of 2019 in the form of their new customizable STRIPE iD collection. The firm’s created several items for sponsored Italian Serie A club Parma Calcio 1913 for the drop. Here is a World Exclusive in-person and up-close look at a Parma Erreà Stripe iD jersey and track jacket. Both are now on sale at stripeid.errea.com.
Parma Calcio 1913 STRIPE iD 2019 Soccer Jersey
The Parma Calcio 1913 STRIPE iD kit could easily be the first-choice shirt for any professional football team. It uses a clever, new shirt design from Erreà with a modern rounded neckline that has a drop effect at its front. Erreà taping runs along with inside neckline.
The Erreà logo and Parma crest are embroidered on the jersey as they would be on an actual match kit. Erreà’s logo is screen printed across the back of the shirt. Well-placed and aesthetically-pleasing stitching emphasizes the collar and the sleeve and shoulder areas of the jersey.
The highlight of the Parma Calcio 1913 STRIPE iD kit is the bespoke sublimated stripe bearing the team’s name on the sleeves. In the iconic yellow, blue and white of the club, the striping is made up of bands of fine diagonal lines with miniature Erreà logos and the text “PARMA CALCIO” in between them. They run all the way down to the sleeve ends.
The sleeves themselves are slightly longer than you’ll find on many of today’s soccer jerseys in order to ensure than Parma’s team name appears at least twice. This is with good effect since the sleeves fit the arms well and accentuate athletic physiques.
The material that the Parma Calcio 1913 STRIPE iD kit is made from an ultra-modern, extremely lightweight and comfortable. It is also certified to be made of non-harmful polyester. Erreà is the only sportswear company that we know of taking this precaution right now.
Parma Calcio 1913 STRIPE iD 2019 Track Jacket
The Parma Calcio 1913 STRIPE iD track jacket exudes class. It has a classic, timeless silhouette that transcends the decades. Key elements of it include cuffs and a waistline with pronounced ribbing reminiscent of the 1970s and 80s, a comfortable collar that keeps the neck area warm and industrial strength zippers at its front and on both pockets.
Thinks get even better from there with the embroidered Erreà logo and Parma Calcio crest applied in the same manner as on the Parma Calcio 1913 STRIPE iD kit.
In a stellar move Erreà’s design team has incorporated a stamp of Parma’s founding year, 1913, on the lower back via a graphic that include the cross from the team crest and the Phoenix that appears on the club’s 2018/19 home, away and third kits. The mythical bird represents the side’s re-emergence following a bout with bankruptcy and dissolution.
The Parma Calcio 1913 Erreà stripe that is integral to the track jacket is identical to the one used on the accompanying jersey. Its effect in emphasized by it running along the upper two thirds of the tops sleeves and ending at a line of diagonal stitching. The result is novel and quite a differentiator from other track tops on the market today.
When worn the Parma Calcio 1913 STRIPE iD track jacket is lightweight, soft and comfortable at the same time it keeps the wearer warm in milder temperatures. Since it looks so good it is a garment that we will definitely be donning well into the Spring of 2019 until it become too hot to wear it!
Brilliantly done for fans of Parma Calcio 1913, general soccer fans and even anyone who likes sportswear, the first drop of the Stripe iD range is among the most innovative and eye-catching athletic gear launches of the year so far. While it is customizable for even amateur teams, we’re hoping to see more Stripe iD offering from some of Erreà’s partner clubs and national teams (well know sides QPR, MK Dons, Pescara and Rwanda are in the mix). Could EURO 2016 and World Cup 2018 darling Iceland be next?
