AIK 1891 Black Edition Nike Kit

Hailed by many as the football shirt of the year so far, reigning Swedish Allsvenskan champions AIK Fotboll recently released a very limited run kit called the “1891 Black Edition” jersey.

Only 128 units (in recognition of the club’s age) of the kit featuring Nike’s minimalistic Park VI design were made.

They quickly sold out via auction and at the AIK store and are now commanding high prices on the secondary market in Sweden.

The AIK 1891 Black Edition kit is all black including the Nike Swoosh and “1891” print on the front.

The player names and numbers on the back of the jersey are also black. AIK’s badge has a touch of gray on it.

The shirt is unsponsored and came in a collector’s box with “1891”, the AIK crest and a Swoosh on the front.

Proceeds from the kit’s sale go towards organizations fighting discrimination in Stockholm and its suburbs.
