While the team was originally a work of fiction from the folks at MUNDIAL, it has since become a five-a-side team on the London amateur soccer circuit. Regardless of their footballing ability this jersey ensures that SCM will be among the best-outfitted in their Sunday league.
The Sporting Club de Mundial x CREATEDBY kit uses the brand new adidas Campeon 19 crewneck shirt design. The template is one of the first that we’ve seen from adidas for their 2019-2020 teamwear collection. Given its classic 90s-inspired vibe we expect to see it become a favorite among professional clubs in the coming year.
The highlight of the adidas Campeon 19 jersey is angular chest graphic based on that on the much-loved West Germany 1990 World Cup-winning home kit. The print was revived for the popular (despite Die Mannschaft’s disappointing run in Russia last summer) Germany 2018 World Cup primary shirt.
The Sporting Club de Mundial x CREATEDBY 2019 adidas kit uses a deep green and white colorway that is reminiscent of the first-choice colors of another Sporting Club – Cristiano Ronaldo’s first team and Portuguese giants Sporting Clube de Portugal.
The colorway is also one currently and often used for Germany’s away shirts. Given the jersey’s look it could easily be the four-time world champions’ away kit if the SCM crest were replaced by the DFB’s.
The nicely done Sporting Club de Mundial badge is printed on the upper left breast of the kit. In this age of sleeve sponsor emergence, the logo of anti-suicide UK charity Campaign Against Living Miserably appears on the right outside sleeve.
Things get brilliant at the back with the 1970s-1980s graphic themed MUNDIAL mag logo printed in the area above the waistline. Your choice of player number is printed in the same font to add a truly retro feel to an already stellar kit.
The Sporting Club de Mundial x CREATEDBY adidas 2019 kit fits true to size so we suggest picking it up in your usual choice of fit. It is now on sale in the kitlocker.com CREATEDBY section.
