Bohemian Football Club have unveiled one of the most interesting kits of the year in the form of a 2019 away kit that pays tribute to music great Bob Marley.
Designed with technical partner O’Neills, the new Bohs alternate jersey has a white base with an unmistakable grayscale portrait of a Marley on its front right. The red, yellow and red of the Rastafarian religion (inspired by the Ethiopian flag) are included on the shirt via vertical stripe on its front left. The colors are also used at the sleeve cuffs and inside and outside rear collar.
Bohemians FC’s tie to Bob Marley came on July 6th, 1980 when he performed at their Dalymount Park ground in Dublin in what was his only appearance in Ireland.
