Current Campeonato Brasileiro Série A table toppers São Paulo Futebol Clube have switched technical partners to adidas following a three year run with Under Armour.

The Brazilian giants have been donning their 2018/19 adidas home and away kits their recent domestic and Copa Libertadores campaigns.

Both shirts stick with the traditional colors of the three-time world club champions. The home jersey has a white based with Sao Paulo’s famous red, white and black chest band. The bands are located above the shirt sponsor logo this season at the request of the club’s fans.

The São Paulo 18/19 primay jersey has a vintage-style collar polo collar reminiscent of the Tricolor uniforms of the 1990s, when São Paulo won the three Paulistas, one Brasileiro, two Libertadores and two Intercontinental Cup titles. adidas’ iconic three stripes appear in red on the shoulders.

The São Paulo FC 2018/19 away kit the team’s familiar red, white and black atlernate shirt stripes. They are offset at a slight angle for the first time. The jersey has a black, 90s-inspired v-neck collar that is trimmed in red. It matches the black sleeves of the jersey. The adidas shoulder stripes on the kit are white for further contrast.

São Paulo FC first wore adidas kits from 1985 to1991.  Their second run with the adidas company was from 1996 to 1999.
