Luxembourg have followed last week’s 0-0 draw with 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia qualifiers Senegal with the launch of their 2018/19 home and away kits from Macron.
Released as part of the UEFA Kit Assistance Scheme intended to outfit smaller European football association teams, the new shirt are in the customary home red and away white of the Die Roten Löwen (The Red Lions). Both use new designs from Italian sports wear firm Macron and are Luxemboug’s first truly bespoke football shirts.
The Luxembourg 2018/19 Macron home jersey is detailed in white with a grandfather collar and an eye-catching set of horizontal stripes on each flank. The away jersey has blue detailing via a standing collar and sleeve cuffs.
The initials of the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Football appear on the outside upper back areas of the new kits.
Luxembourg are expected to debut their 2018/19 Macron home kit when they meet Georgia in an international friendly on June 5th.
