Today New Balance has officially revealed the new 2018/19 home kit for Athletic Club. Taking the rich and iconic heritage of the club as the inspiration, the kit is part of the “Loyal to the Last” campaign, showcasing the unbreakable bond the club has with its fans and city.
The Athletic Bilbao 2018/19 home kit has been engineered using innovative NB DRY technology. The jersey wicks moisture away from the skin to help keep players fresh and dry from first to final whistle.
The 18/19 home kit has been designed in the traditional iconic red and white stripes of Athletic Club, familiar to the club’s 120-year history. From the spirit of famous Athletic player “Pichichi”, to the architecture of the stunning San Mamés Stadium, the kit design draws influence from the local culture with a nod to the legacy of the club.
The shirt also features a black crossover V-neck collar, top shoulder bonded tape, and an embroidered crest.
Black shorts complete the look, featuring a concealed stretch fabric insert which also runs down the side of the shirt. The socks feature an elasticated ankle zone and rib Achilles region with cushioned protection.
An additional cushioned heel zone and vented cushioned footbed and toe section have been designed to help players play with power, comfort and extra support.
