Santos FC 2018/19 Umbro Home and Away Kits

Popular Brazilian side Santos Futebol Clube have switched kit providers to Umbro Brasil after two year with Kappa. The club unveiled their 2018/19 home and away kits ahead of Sunday’s 2-0 Campeonato Brasileiro Série A win over Ceara.

Respecting the tradition of club that produced Pele, Neymar and Robinho, the Santos FC 18/19 Umbro home shirt is mainly white. It has a v-neck collar  the phrase “Super Santos” on its inside neckline. A series of embossed miniature Santos shields appears on the upper chest.

The Santos FC 2018/19 away jersey also sticks with tradition via black and white stripes on its front. It has a different v-neck from the home kit with black and white raglan sleeves. Embossing that combines Umbro’s diamond and the word “Santos” is applied on the sleeve cuffs to recreate a 1990s look.

“We are thinking of creating something different for this campaign because we also innovate in these new uniforms using a lot of our manufacturing technology to arrive at a product that matches the demanding Santos fans,” commented Eduardo Dal Pogetto, sports marketing manager at Umbro.

The Santos FC 2018/19 Umbro kits will be available in FAN and GAME versions. The FAN model has the club and Umbro logos embroidered while the GAME version sees them applied thermo transfer and 3D patch twill. Santos’ players will wear the GAME kits in match play.
