Costa Rica will be one of two teams wearing kits from New Balance at 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia this summer. While the Panama 2018/19 primary shirt is expected to drop any day now, New Balance released the Costa Rica 2018 World Cup home kit ahead of the recent international break.
Among the best received of national team jerseys for the World Cup the new La Sele shirt is the the now well-known red of the Brazil 2014 surprise quarter-finalists. It has a classic soccer jersey rounded neck in white that matches with shoulder flashes and the text “COSTA RICA” on its back signoff area.
A series of tonal diagonal stripes on the front of the kit add further detail. The years of the all of the World Cups that Costa Rica has qualified for (1990, 2002, 2006, 2014 and 2018) is printed on the shirt’s inside neck.
The Costa Rica 2018 World Cup New Balance home uniform is completed with blue shorts and white socks.
Costa Rica is pooled with formidable opponents England, Serbia and Switzerland in Group E of Russia 2018.
