Poland 2018 World Cup Nike Home and Away Kits

Nike Football have launched the home and away kits that Poland will wear at 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia and during the 2018/19 international soccer calendar. Both will be on sale at World Soccer Shop,  UK Soccer Shop, Lovell Soccer, Pro:Direct Soccer, Subside Sports and Kitbag.

“The (kit) designs were inspired by the pride people take in the eagle, which is an important national symbol and the crest of the national team,” explains Pete Hoppins, Nike Football Apparel Senior Design Director.

“In France two years ago, the story was about the rise of the eagle. For 2018, that eagle is now soaring. Poland is a team to be taken seriously and they have the mentality of fierce underdogs.”

At base, the Polish White Eagle (Orzeł Biały) is reflected in the Poland 2018 World Cup kit designs by a diagonal chest pattern on the jerseys. Rendered in white and platinum grey on the home kit and in two shades of vibrant red on the away, the graphic represents the pride of the eagle cutting through the competition.

The jerseys’ broken V necklines meet at the back of the neck with a breathable red tape featuring the Polish coat of arms.

Poland debuted their 2018/19 Nike home kit in a 0-1 loss to fellow World Cup qualifiers Nigeria in Wroclaw last Friday.
