Emelec 2018 adidas Home, Away and Third Kits

Ecuadorian Serie A champions of four of the last five years Club Sport Emelec have launched their 2018 adidas home, away and third kits for their upcoming domestic and Copa Libertadores season.

El Bombillo (The Lightbulb) pays homage to the team that won their the first of their now fifteen Primera titles by using a light blue home jersey that is based on the shirt worn during the 1957 season.

Emelec’s traditional white sash adorns the front of the kit. A white, single buttoned Henley collar, shoulder stripes and sleeve cuffs add further detail to the shirt.

The CS Emelec 2018 away kit is a modern, rounded neck dark blue affair with bright blue collar trim and shoulder stripes. Tonal lines that form a heat map pattern run along its front and back.

Emelec’s 2018 third shirt uses their traditional primary royal blue. The upper chest and shoulder are mainly white along with adidas’ three stripes on each side of the jersey.

Emelec debuted their 2018 adidas home and away kits during their championship run in the recently concluded pre-season Copa del Pacífico.
