Northern Ireland 2018/19 adidas Home Kit

Northern Ireland wore their 2018/19 adidas home kit for the first time during the first leg of their 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia European zone playoff against Switzerland last week. The new shirt is expected to see action against the red clad Swiss in the return leg on Sunday in Basel.

Available now at Irish Football Association official retail partner JD Sports, the 2018/19 Northern Ireland primary shirt is in the traditional green of the EURO 2016 qualifiers. It uses a classic polo collared, v-neck football shirt design based on that worn by the team during their run to the second round of the 1982 World Cup in Spain.

White detailing via the collar area and adidas striping on the jersey’s sides match with the accompanying shorts. Green socks complete the Northern Ireland 2018/19 adidas home uniform.

Made of mainly of English Premier League and Championship players, Northern Ireland must overcome a 0-1 home defeat to Switzerland in order to qualify for Russia 2018.
