Juventus 120th Anniversary adidas Home Jersey

Italian Serie A powerhouse Juventus Football Club have launched a limited edition 120th Anniversary home kit from technical partner adidas.

The new Bianconeri jersey will be worn when the club faces  Benevento in 2017/18 Serie Action on Sunday at Juventus Stadium.

Accordin to the Juve website: 1897 – the year in which the Bianconeri were founded by a group of students in Turin – is also the number of limited edition kits that will be made available for sale.

The design represents a throwback to the club’s kit from the early 1950’s. The inside of the neck-line includes a ‘Sign Off’ with the anniversary dates and takes inspiration from the first ever Juventus emblem.

There is a modern look to the shirt too: besides the unmistakable black and white stripes, there is a wide back panel on the reverse of the jersey – a feature which has been re-introduced to the Bianconeri’s current home kit.

Noticeably the shirt is missing the infamous club crest, instead solely featuring three gold stars. Each star represents 10 league titles and is a symbol which has featured on every club kit since the 1994/95 season.

To honor the club’s 120-year anniversary, the sponsor logos have been stitched black-black onto the right chest (adidas and Jeep) and on the back panel (Cygames).
