Girona Futbol Club will play in Spain’s La Liga for the first time in their 87 year history during the 2017/18 season.
The Blanquivermell (White and Reds) begin their first year in the international spotlight when they meet title contenders Atlético Madrid on August 19th.
Girona will wear a three kit range from Umbro for the 17/18 season. The club’s home shirt in in their customary red and white vertical stripes with yellow collar and sleeve detailing. The jersey appears to use the same Umbro design as West Ham’s 2016/17 home kit.
The Girona FC 2017/18 away shirt is a relatively simple crewneck affair. It is light blue with a gradient effect that sees the blue darken towards the waistline to match with the accompanying shorts.
Girona’s new third kit features horizontal stripes in two shades of yellow. Its sleeves are int he darker shade of yellow along with the back part of the shirt’s v-neck collar.
All three kits have a graphic reading “DESDE 1930” (Since 1930) heatstamped on its outside upper back. The Catalan flag is embroidered on the lower left front of the shirts.
