Sunderland 2017/18 adidas Away Kit

Sunderland AFC’s 2017/18 adidas away kit was worn by Brendan O’Donnell, the great, great grandson of club founder James Allan in the South Stands of the Stadium of Light during Friday’s EFL Championship match against Derby County FC.

Released with the tagline “our future is rooted in our history” the new Black Cats alternative kit is a sky blue version of the new adidas Tiro 17 template. The v-neck shirt is accented with white at its collar, adidas side stripes and shoulder piping. Ventilation is present at the upper back and through subtle hoops on its sleeves.

The Sunderland 2017/18 adidas away uniform is matched with light blue shorts and socks that are also detailed in white.
