Rebuilt with a combination of loan and youth team players, new signings and survivors from last November’s plane trash in which most of their first team perished, Associação Chapecoense de Futebol are currently in fourth place in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A table. They have also qualified for the knockout round of this year’s Copa Libertadores.
Chape recently unveiled their 2017/18 home and away kits from Umbro Brasil. The new shirts join the club’s Copa Libertadores shirt in their new match range.
The Chapecoense 2017 home and away jerseys feature new bespoke designs by Umbro. The primary shirt is in the club’s traditional dark green while the alternate is white with a single yellow stripe running vertically along its midfront.
The kits have a modern rounded collar with a subtle overlap at the front. The home shirt has an intricate design on that includes tonal horizontal stripes and a sawtooth pattern.
“SOMOS MAIS QUE ONZE” (We are more than eleven) is printed on the inside necklines of the new Chape kits on an image that includes the team’s trademark feather. A right jocktag celebrates the centenary of Chapecoense’s home city of Chapecó.
