AFC Ajax 2017/18 adidas Away Kit

UEFA Europa League finalists AFC Ajax have unveiled a their adidas away kit for their 2017/18 Dutch Eredivisie, KNVB Cup and Champions League seasons. The new shirt will be available at World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, Kitbag and UK Soccer Shop.

The 2017/2018 AFC Ajax away kit has a blue base with red detailing. The inspiration behind the colors is the 1994/95 Ajax away kit worn when the club won their last major title – the 1995 UEFA Champions League. A modern camouflage-feel print appears on the front and sleeve cuffs of the crew neck jersey.

The red names of the names and numbers on the jersey use the same font as that used for the signs of Amsterdam’s bridges to maintain a connection to Ajax’ hometown. They are placed on a dark blue shirt back.

The AFC Ajax 2017/18 adidas away kit will be worn along with either blue shorts and socks or red shorts and socks. The socks have a print of the Saint Andrew’s Crosses (taken from the city of Amsterdam coat of arms) on their fronts.
