New York Red Bulls 2017 adidas Home Jersey

Last year’s Major League Soccer regular season Eastern Conference table topper New York Red Bulls have released their 2017/18 adidas home jersey. It will be available at World Soccer Shop, Kitbag and UK Soccer Shop.

Modeled by star striker and former England youth international Bradley Wright-Phillips for its unveiling, the Red Bulls 2017 home kit is expected to make its debut during Wednesday’s CONCACAF Champions League quarter-final meeting with the Vancouver Whitecaps.

The shirt is in the white base and red details of all of the football club’s owned by Red Bull (included Bundesliga title challengers RB Leipzig, Red Bull Salzburg and Red Bull Brasil). The energy drink firm’s clashing bulls logo appears on its front.

According to the New York Red Bulls: The sporting direction for the New York Red Bulls has evolved to focus on a young, energetic, high-pressing and aggressive style of play.

Based in the metro area, the patterns on the 2017 jersey are representative of two main directions…

Strength & Speed.

Inspired by carbon fiber and progressive materials, the intersecting lines speak to the style of play of the team and its composition. A youthful squad that is agile, fast, attacking and relentless.

Metro.

The Metro area is bright lights, impressive architecture, layer upon layer of sky-scraping buildings and the tunnels, bridges and roads that connect everything together. The pattern and fabric are symbolic of the connective thread that bring everyone together in this metropolis.
