MLS Cup Eastern Conference playoff finalists last season, the Montreal Impact unveiled their 2017 adidas away jersey at their season kickoff event on Thursday night.
One of three Canadian teams in Major League Soccer, the Impact’s new secondary kit is in their traditional away white with blue detailing. It uses a new crewneck adidad design with the brand’s famous three stripes on its shoulders. A gray triangle appears below the front of the collar for a contrasting effect.
A series of very subtle tonal stripes run throughout the front of the shirt. The city of Montreal’s 375th Anniversary celebration organization, Vive 375, logo appears in the jocktag area of the 2017 Impact away kit.
The original coat of arms of the city of Montreal (still present on older buildings today) is placed on the jersey’s signoff area.
