Southampton FC’s Unplanned 2016/17 Under Armour Third Kit

Southampton Football Club have will wear what is an unplanned 2016/17 Under Amour third kit for Sunday’s Barclays Premier League trip to AFC Bournemouth.

The new Saints kit became a necessity after Bournemouth deemed that Southampton’s 16/17 home and away uniforms were too similar to their home strip.

The Southampton FC 2016/17 third shirt uses the same Under Armour design as their current primary and alternate jerseys. It is all white with red sponsor and Under Armour branding. The change kit is matched with red shorts and red and white hooped socks.

The last time that Southampton wore a third kit was in January 2015 when they donned a yellow shirt in a 2-1 win against Newcastle United at St. James Park.

The kit is a one off and will not be available for sale to Southampton fans. The Southampton 16/17 Under Armour home and away jerseys are on sale now at the World Soccer Shop, Subside Sports, UK Soccer Shop and Kitbag Premier League stores.
