adidas and Parley for the Oceans today unveiled their first performance products. The range includes a limited edition soccer jersey for defending UEFA Champions League champions and perennial Spanish La Liga title contenders Real Madrid CF.
The new Real Madrid 2016/17 football kit is one of the first mass-produced with Parley Ocean Plastic. The material is up-cycled marine plastic waste recovered via Parley interception and clean-up operations in coastal areas of the Maldives, with the goal of driving global awareness and comprehensive solutions to the threat of ocean plastic pollution.
The all white Real Madrid Parley shirt features a simple ribbed v-neck design that includes mesh inserts for targeted ventilation. The left breast features a tonal Real Madrid badge will “For the oceans” is printed on the back neck tape. The jock tag on the lower left front of the jersey has the adidas and Parley logos. The kit is matched with all white shorts and socks that do not include adidas branding or Real Madrid symbols.
Real Madrid will wear their 2016/17 Parley jersey when they host Real Sporting de Gijón at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium on on Saturday, November 26th.
