1. FC Köln 2016 Erima Karneval Kit

In form Bundesliga club 1. FC Köln have launched the 2016 edition of their Karneval kit celebrating their city’s annual carnival. It will be available at Subside Sports.

Furnished by technical sponsor Erima, the new FC Köln shirt is in white, red and gold of the city of Cologne’s flag. It includes symbolism tied to the city throughout. This includes the shirt from the Cologne flag on its mid-chest and a silhouette of the Cologne Cathedral on its right breast. A jester had appears above the 1. FC Köln badge to recognize the carnival.

The three crowns from the Köln flag shield are embroidered on the outside right sleeve cuff while the eleven tears of the emblem are on the left sleeve. The crowns and tears are also watermarked on the front of the 2016 Karneval kit.

“FC, the city, and Karneval are all very closely linked together. The fifth season of the year is a great representation of the atmosphere and feeling around this region. Our new Karneval kit portrays our love for this wonderful city and its citizens, who are proud representatives of FC,” said FC Managing Director Alexander Wehrle.
