Faroe Islands 2016/17 adidas Home and Away Kits

Recipients of a 0-6 home loss to Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal on Monday, the Faroe Islands have their first new kits since 2014.

Furnished by Faroe Islands Football Association (Faroese: Fótbóltssamband Føroya) technical sponsor adidas, the Landsliðið (National Team) are wearing home kit in their traditional white with blue and red detailing taken from the Faroe Islands national flag. It has a simple v-neck design with a prominent band of blue on its midfront.

The Faroe Island 2016/17 away shirt uses the adidas Regista design made famous via the new Middlesbrough home jersey. It is in the usual alternate blue of the Faroes with accenting in white and dark blue.

Undefeated in 2018 World Cup qualifying until their loss to Portugal, the Faroe Islands have never qualified for a major international tournament. They have showed improvement in recent outings with a win at Latvia and a draw at Hungary.
