England captain Dylan Hartley was joined by fellow internationals Mike Brown, Maro Itoje, George Kruis and Rochelle Clark to unveil the reigning Six Nations champions’ 2016/17 Canterbury home kit on Facebook.
Slated for a debut when the England men’s rugby union team meets South Africa at Twickenham on November 12, the new shirt will be on sale at World Rugby Shop, Kitbag Rugby and Lovell Rugby in fan replica and player issue versions.
The Test fit edition of the England 2016/17 rugby jersey is the same as that worn by players during international fixtures. It is in the traditional primary white of England’s rugby teams. The shirt features an embossed St. George’s cross on its front along with a ventilated 3D silicone rose patch on its left breast. The retro-styled de-constructed collar of the jersey takes its inspiration from the very first England rugby kit (worn in 1871).
The England rugby 16/17 Canterbury home uniform is completed with all white shorts and navy blue socks with a white foldover section at its top.
