The Chelsea 16/17 third kit was launched in new film starring Diego Costa, Oscar, Nemanja Matic, Gary Cahill, Kenedy and Ruben Loftus-Cheek of Chelsea, as part of adidas’ First Never Follows film series.
The new Chelsea FC change kit is an all-white strip featuring a large embossed lion on the sleeve. It includes the classic adidas three stripes on the side panels in Chelsea blue, two different colored crests, and a tailored “Chelsea FC” collar tape.
White away and third kits have been used by the West London club since their founding in 1905. They were worn for by Chelsea when they won the UEFA Champions League in 2012 and UEFA Europa League in 2013, as well as for a number of domestic league and cup triumphs.
Chelsea will debut their 2016/17 adidas third kit when they travel to Watford on August 20 for Round 2 of the new Barclays Premier League season.
