Former German Bundesliga champions turned relegation strugglers VfB Stuttgart wore their 2016/17 PUMA home kit for the first time during Saturday’s 1-3 home loss to Mainz 05.
Die Roten’s (The Reds) new primary shirt introduces a new jersey template from PUMA in a bespoke design for the popular club. It is in the customary white base of Stuttgart with a red band running across its chest and continuing onto its back. Subtle pinstripes runs along the front and back of the shirt.
Red PUMA’s T7 stripes run along the kit’s shoulders. The collar on the jersey is a classic roundneck affair in white with a layer of red added on its inside. The year of VfB Stuttgart’s founding , 1893, is printed in red on the signoff area. White short and socks that both have red detailing complete the new uniform.
