With a second consecutive season of Italian Serie A football secured, Bologna FC 1909 have released their 2016/17 home kit from Macron.
I Rossoblu (The Red and Blues) debuted the new uniform during Saturday’s 0-1 loss to AC Milan at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.
The 2016/17 Bologna home shirt is in their familiar stripes with a contemporary v-neck collar. It uses a slim fit and is matched with club’s usual white shorts and red and blue shorts.
The design of the shirt is based on the kit that Bolgna FC wore when they won the 1937 1Torneo Internazionale dell’Expo Universale di Parigi that also included Sochaux, Slavia Praga and Chelsea FC.
Bologna’s initials and year of founding are embroidered on the signoff area at the back of the jersey in a stylized design reading “BFC 1909″. A red and blue rectangular stamp containing the team’s motto “Lo squadrone che tremare il mondo fa” (The squad that makes the world tremble” appears on the shirt’s inside neck area.
